Getting to know Tracy Byrd, Our Newest Team Member

Tracy moved to San Antonio from Greenwood, MS, to work in the lab doing research at the UT Health and Science Center. She graduated from Ole Miss with degrees in Biology and Cytology. At Ole Miss, you could find Tracy on the field with the marching band playing the melophone, the marching style instrument used for French horns.

Tracy has one puppy that is half lab and half great pyrenees. She loves to travel and run long distance. Tracy participates in triathlons, marathons, and crossfit. Her current favorite running shoes are Mizunos.

Her favorite places to vacation as a kid was Destin, FL, but now you’ll find her in the mountains of Colorado hiking in the beauty of Steamboat or Colorado Springs.
