NARPM® Joins on Bill to Sunset CARES Act Notice to Vacate

NARPM® is proud to collaborate with Congressman Barry Loudermilk on legislation that addresses the 30-Day CARES Act Notice to Vacate. The Respect State Housing Laws Act is supported by NARPM® and the National Apartment Association. This is legislation that was not assigned an expiration date as part of the CARES Act, and as such, is still affecting landlords. Congressman Loudermilk introduced his bill to end the extended Notice to Vacate. The bill currently has six co-sponsors. NARPM® has sent out a call to action to its members to notify their Congressman to vote yes on this bill. You can join them in their call to action here. To read the full press release from Congressman Loudermilk’s office, please visit his website. You can send a message to your legislator in favor of this bill to help get it adopted.
